Impact accountability is the ability to hold the organization accountable for achieving outcomes.

In the third (and final) lesson toward your bronze Merit badge, you'll explore:

  • Four hallmarks of effective nonprofit accountability capacity: the use of frameworks, understanding attribution, use of feedback, and the adoption of healthy accountability habits.

  • Three nonprofit impact measurement frameworks: Five Dimensions of Impact, logic modeling, and Theory of Change.

  • The concept of "downward accountability" between nonprofits and funders.
