Strategic planning is the process we use to enable our nonprofits to achieve their missions. It’s also the overarching ability–or capacity–to plan strategically over time.

In the first lesson toward your bronze Merit badge, you'll explore:

  • What strategic planning is, and what it is not.

  • How strategic planning can be an action, an ability, and an adaptive leadership approach.

  • What "adaptive strategy" is.
